The forms are many the understanding is few.
Beauty is physical for much of the time.
The perception of beauty is what is a crime.
Your magazines, your books, role models on tv.

Physical imperfection is beauty.
Battle scars and wrinkles show true grit and character.
People who survive through life and come out with a smile.
From birth to death and all in between.
Beauty shines through in everything we are.

Beauty has other forms away from you and I.
The winter sun, the lashing rain, the clear blue summer sky.
The animals the birds and bees,
Rivers, lands and trees,
It makes me sad that people don’t see the beauty in you and in me.

This world is beautiful if you take the time to notice.
You are beautiful if you take the time to care.

Beauty is everywhere
Ugly is man-made created to put you down.
The by-product of ignorance and insecurity of others.
