first poem I've written in several months
Writing again
It's been a while
I get these bouts
These long
Brief pauses
In time between my poems
I hate them
Both of them
The pauses and the poems
But they are both necessary
If I keep writing poems I grow tired of them
If I stop writing poems I grow tired of myself
Sometimes breaks are necessary
Inspiration does not come naturally
But neither does motivation
Or these words
The only thing that is natural
Is moments of breathing life
And moments of cold death
Poems
And
Pauses.
