Humans were never meant to die.. We brought in on ourselves. |
Humans were never meant to die. It’s true, we were built, designed to be immortal. Think about it. The human body is the pinnacle of evolution, the ultimate species in existence. Every part of you is designed flawlessly, immense effort and design put into every scrap of skin, every twitching nerve, every sparking neuron in your brain is perfection. Or, at least it was. We were very primitive, a basic sentient existence is all we had, but it was all we wanted, there was no such thing as greed, murder or war. No famine, pestilence or death, we as a species existed peacefully! We loved our lives and those around us, we were truly happy. Then, drawn to us like moths to an irresistible flame they arrived They observed at first, never coming close but never too far away either, watching for centuries as we carried out our existence. Then they made their move. They offered us understanding, new knowledge and the abilities to work with this knowledge in exchange for a place inside us, co -existing within our beings. Naturally, we took this brilliant opportunity. And so man entwined his being with evil, this new, powerful presence that constantly whispered its intentions into our ears. But they kept their end of the deal; and so man welcomed the dawn of machine, the reign of iron of steam and smoke and corrupted nature. But from the second our kinds were merged, our essence began to bleed into them. And they fed; grew fat on our hopes and dreams, gorged themselves on every thought and every feeling, they wallow in our souls. It’s natural that they want more. After all, after getting a taste of heaven, wouldn’t you? And so every night and every day, every dawn and every dusk, they bury themselves deep inside us, and carve out another piece of our being, slowly eating their way through us, until we are nothing but a shell, an empty husk of the thing we once were. Humans were never meant to die. We chose to kill our selves. |
