Dark days arrive,
and threaten to break
down the doors,
with strange words
of sadness
and hatred
and death

Good days return,
shutting out the terror,
barring the doors
with hope
and love
and forgiveness

Balance is vital
in a world of
constant turmoil,
A crack in the door,
and everything falls
