From the depth of the skies
My words have been captured
Tortured by the whirlwind
Of the chaos I reside
Unable to speak
To breathe the air
Swallowed by innocence
Gulping the fear
Questioning his silence
Grasping the moment
To uncertain hope
Of a future undisguised
Untarnished by violence
Secluded within
Deciphering looks
Movements of sins
Hiding the laughter
Piercing the heart
Mending my life
That was torn apart
Missing the spirits
Of my little ones
Missing the love
Hiding the lost
Welcoming hatred
Replacing anger
Allowing time to ponder life
Life challenges time
Boxed to a belief
That was captured
Questioning this path of mine
