People
Such sheeple
Standing down
Looking up
Pseudo judgment
Of their god above
Crucifying themselves
Guilt, like a river
Running the truest red
What they have done
What they are willing to do
Ashamed I should be
But I’m not
Exactly the same
I stand in awe
How did we
And I
Get here
To this terrifying place
When and where
Time is devoid of a point
People
Such sheeple
I can’t stand them
In the darkness I live
A hermit king
With no real castle
Notebooks are my walls
Full pages are my servants
They do only what I say
What I am forced to command
These twisted words
Will forever live on
A microcosm of our species
An identifiable duality
Of all human lechery
Written out
Expressed
Damn near lived
Being different
While being exactly the same
What a confusing paradox
Uncomfortable am I
Should others share
Certainly they should
But I won’t force them
I’ll only provide the information
And the context in which to use it
The decision as always
Is theirs
I’ll give up on the world
But not before
I give up on myself
A bullet to my brain
An archaic shattering
Of what makes me
Who I am
And what I pretend
As always
Someone else
Will clean up the mess
The stain of existence
And thus obliteration
I don’t think it’s a stretch
To have lived a life
With the idea in mind
That there are some lives
That are just no meant to be
Mistakes and happenstance
Such a fine line between
Two sides of a very different coin
I’ll give up on the world
But only when its time
Until then I’ll stand right here
In line with what I don’t believe
And what I absolutely refuse
I’ll watch the others
The people turned sheeple
I’ll write my words
Make my observations
And characterizations
Elaborating in ridiculous fashion
I’ll build my walls one at a time
Knowing
That unlike me, and those I write about
Such walls will always remain…
