A place we call our own

Sometimes there is a place we go.
A place that nobody else can see
It is our space locked,
The place that has no key.

It  is an open door for our eyes only.
Thoughts of sorrow, or peace of mind.
Secluded from anyone to judge,
Secret thoughts of so many kinds.

For me it is my inner self,
The best part of me.
My truest self, serving
a gift that nobody can see.
