Hated by many, understood by few
But as time goes by, we will always stay true.
Contrary to belief, colour is not restricted
The idea that we are all racist is not self inflicted

Race was never an issue, until the media framed us
Scapegoat, hated and blamed us
You think we are all fascist, racist, nazi animals
Because that is how they portrayed us

Let me make one thing clear, because you need to face this
Skinhead is non-synonymous with the words Nazi or racist
Skinhead is the heart of the working class youth
Booted in Britain, but Jamaica's her root

You tend to think that we're uneducated, you think we're violent
You think that we're antisocial delinquents without even a trial
You think that we're mindless, you think we are evil
You cannot see past your stereotypes to see that we are people

We are met in the streets, by onslaughts of attack
Whether physically or verbally, it usually comes from the back
You stare till I pass you and then you open your mouth
You wait till I am far, and then Nazi you shout

We are the smartly dressed, Ska dancing, pride of 69
The sta-press wearing, good time sharing, skins of a modern time
True skinheads will never die, traditions stay the same
So as the years go by, it is only the faces that will change

Skinhead is a culture, it is definitely, a way of life
It doesn't make any difference if you're black, or you're white
Deep down we're the same, we're working class and we're proud
With our hearts on our sleeves, our roots set in the ground

I will be a Skinhead until the organ in my chest, ceases to beat
Until my lungs are deprived, and I cease to breathe
But I will never cease to believe, I will never cease to dream
I will die as I lived, a crucified warrior, of the Trojan Breed
