*NEW BOOK IDEA** Gemini: Preface

         In 2017, a great dispute took place in the United Nations. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom debated that the world should combine into one large Kingdom; the President of the United States rebuttled that the world should become one large democracy. After this dispute, North America, France, Germany, South America, Australia and Africa have split from the Alliance made with Great Britain, Russia and the Slavic countries, and all of Asia; each forming their own countries and, in 2025, engineering to magnetically pull the parts of their countries towards them.
         The U.S. led side, calling themselves the United Republic of Liberty (U.R.L), wanted to people to perceive them as Heaven and the opposition as Hell. They called themselves a Republic, but their leader did not give up his office after four years, and his son took over after his death. Their propaganda stated that they wanted to reunite the two countries, when really they wanted to enslave anyone from the opposing side.
         The British led side, calling themselves the Kingdom of Amoretpaz, maintained that if they were Hell, they would wipe out any angel until there was no Heaven. Their mission was simple and concise: Eliminate the U.R.L and kill every man, woman, and child.
         In 2050, both sides agreed on an idea presented by U.R.L Chancellor Felix Tisch that would assure an equal and fair fight: each side would take one of two twins, genetically mutated while in utero, and use them as their weapons. The called this the Gemini Project. Both sides thought that if they knew of their origins, they would not want to fight their own sibling, so the twins were never told.
         Each was born and raised to be a general and lead their country to victory. Each twin had a biological clock, and at age 50, they died. After the previous set dies, a new set is born. The mothers chosen to give birth to these twins were hailed as war heroes and given a high place in society. The fathers were given a high rank in their army.
         Each set of twins had a different set of powers and abilities. The twins Amari (U.R.L) and Baltazar (K.A.) had telekinetic abilities. They hated each other, hurling tanks, weapons, even people at each other with their minds. The twins Merrick (U.R.L) and Lemuel (K.A.) had abilities over water. They conjured tsunamis, storms, and glaciers to eliminate each other.
         It is now the year 2317, and the new twins have been chosen. Chancellor of the U.R.L., Vikter Roz, and King Arcaeus of Amoretpaz gather with their highest generals and advisors to gather their new weapons. But these twins were different; all of the other sets were fraternal, this new set were exactly identical. Neither side saw this as a threat though.
         Roz chose the beautiful baby with jet black hair and named him Angel; Arcaeus chose the dashing baby with golden hair and knighted him then and there, Sir Damian. Their mother was from Amoretpaz and their government gave her a place in the queens court. Their father was of the U.R.L, but he was not given a high rank in the army; he was cast out into a barren land.
These brothers are born to hate each other, raised to fight each other, and destined to kill each other. But the cycle stops here...
