For Dark Dreamscapes Poetry Contest, Prompt "I'm nobody, who are you?"

I wear a face,
to the moonlight ball.
While royalty dines,
a Prince shall fall.
I am a server,
I am nobody.

I wear a face,
to the market square.
While counting his change,
a merchant runs out of air.
I am bartering,
I am nobody.

I wear a face,
to Sunday mass.
While the innocent pray,
their bishop will pass.
I am confessing,
I am nobody.

I wear a face,
and visit the condemned.
While awaiting the executioner,
whose own blood flow will not be stemmed.
I am absolution,
I am nobody.

I wear a face,
a new one every day.
While others live lives,
I walk within eternal gray.
I am nobody,
who are you?.
