Excluded

Some days I want people to ask me to hang out,
         To go to a movie,
To go to the park,
         Or to do anything at all,
When I hear people talking about hanging out,
         I want to be invited,
I want to hang out,
         See a movie,
Play park bench,
         But no one ever asks me,
If I wanted to do anything with them,
         Sometimes when I hear about how great someones birthday party was,
I did not even know they had one,
         And was sad I was not invited,
People talk about how fun it would be,
         To go see a movie,
Hang out,
         Or even play park bench together,
I made the mistake once to try to get included,
         They just looked at me like I was nothing,
And brushed me aside,
         Now I just listen,
To all of the things they do together,
         I wish some days they will ask me,
But deep down I know they will not.
