Trying to write something a bit different and outside my comfort zone, a poem about a king

In the heart this man
Freedom stands alone
In the bones of the same man
Belief grows out of control
In the mind of said man
Questions run wild
Why should anyone
Most of all him comply
The dues required
Far exceed the freedom provided
Such a sum has become unjustifiable
Leaving those further like him
Far outside the kingdom
Beyond the walls of opulence
To, as one entity demand answers
Is there any light beyond this day
Is there any truth to what we think
Certainly there is
The king has become a monster
A once medieval balancing act
Has been thrown from the ropes
Landing down upon the people
Crushing their glorious ideals
Leaving them to wonder about change
Via
The difference death would make
Libération
The wicked king must of course die
To be brutally killed
Under the guise of certain change
To be bled
Under requite circumstances
The one so brave
The one willing to hold the blade
Must know for certain
That the killing of a monarch
Will mean absolute death
And of course he does
Libération
Not just as idea
Not the same as a revolution
But rather an identifiable difference
That without question will come to fruition
Sneaking into any castle is difficult
Heightened are the senses of those
Who know what a killer looks like
They won’t be easily fooled
Limited must be the rules
Killing everyone along the path
To the one to be murdered
Will be seen as justifiable homicide
God and King can only be
Separated by the blade
Libération
Closer still
The King of those far beyond
Sleeps in his veiled bed
Unaware of his coming death
The man tasked to wield his doom
Stands over his body and soul
His weapon raised for the plunge
Deep into the heart of blasphemy
He will strike
Soft are his final words
Your people
The ones beyond these walls
Have abandoned you
They wish for a type of change
That only death can bring
Goodbye thy king
Libération…
