The garden is a special place for me.
As I work there, I find such peace.
With beauty in all the nature I see.

My mind is happy and so carefree.
I know each seed will become a flowering masterpiece.

I share the garden with butterfly and bee.
Above my head, the birds’ songs never cease.

Gentle winds flow through the limbs of every tree.
I feel my happiness begin to increase.

A row of pansies is what I finally see.
Their charming colors will not decrease.

A loving glance and a prayer for rain is my plea.
I shake some soil from my apron’s crease.
