To Oblivion

         The earth bent to his will as Lucifer stood in the mountains, high above the city that had exiled him so many years ago. Years of preparation had led up to this moment and it was time for him to take his revenge on the place that had ruined his life.
         Lucifer looked out towards the horizon and said "I'm ready." as if someone else was there. He touched his staff to the ground and the earth split below it, bringing fourth his abominations conjured in oblivion. He smiled as the creatures ran down the mountain and the conflagration began.
