THE VOICE, ENTERTAINMENT |
On Tuesday night’s episode of “The Voice”, America spoke and the first 2 contestants saved were Christina Grimmie from Team Adam and Sisaundra Lewis from Team Blake. The electricity and anticipation was latent on the contestants, mentors, and audience, everybody has their favorites but unfortunately 2 would be going home at the end of the night. The next 2 contestants to be saved were Kristen Merlin from Team Shakira and Josh Kaufman from Team Usher, and upon this last one being announced the audience erupted in a unified “Yeah!!!” Josh is without doubt one of America’s favorite, not just for his awesome voice, but because of his demeanor and stage presence that makes him one who would fill arenas and sell records by the millions. There were now 6 remaining and the next 2 saved were Audra McLaughlin from Team Blake and Delvin Choice from Team Adam, and a pattern in the voting was becoming clear as far as which 2 coaches were rising once again. And then there were 4, one more would be saved based on America’s vote and the remaining 3 would have to sing for one last time and then America would have 5 minutes to Tweet their votes and decide which singer would be instantly saved. And America saved Jake Worthington, so the bottom 3 were Kat Perkins from Team Adam, Bria Kelly from Team Usher, and Tess Boyer from Team Shakira. The remaining 3 sang their hearts out in hopes that viewers would Tweet their names and be saved, and then with the vote percentage showing on the screen the Tweeting time was up and Carson Daly, -host-, announced that Kat Perkins was saved. That means that Shakira and Usher only have one team member left in their respective camps. Usher is not done yet, because he has none other than Josh Kaufman and this singer will go far in this competition. Next Monday’s episode promise to be intense and with performances that viewers can only imagine and look forward to witnessing. “The Voice” runs on Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC. |
