An elegy to those lost in the Oso mudslide, March 2014 (Form: Quatern) |
The Diary ** Image ID #1991488 Unavailable ** A diary. All that remains of dreams held in a young girl's heart. The rest was washed away as rains sundered the mountainside apart. Her silent longings on the ground; a diary. All that remains are tears of loss by those who found the tattered pages cloaked in stains. A childish scrawl of joys and pains, of teenage hopes that rose and sank. A diary. All that remains as fate leaves final pages blank. The pages flutter in the air; they dance to the wind's waning strains in benediction, like a prayer. A diary. All that remains.
