Pieces.

The pieces of me are crumbling,
Crashing, stumbling,
Crumb by crumb,
Bit by bit,
Piece by piece.

My heart is breaking,
Shattering, scattering,
Slipping and sliding,
Along the dark, slippery Earth.

I say, I'm okay,
I tell you I'm alright,
That everything is fine,
And I fake a smile,
But in my eyes,
I'm nothing but a broken child.
