America has so many homeless

so tired, fearful and so hopeless.

What does it say about a nation

that leaves it's people in such frustration?


With no safe place to lay your head

you wonder if you're better dead.

Now we're in another depression

and the Feds deny it, with obsession


As Americans fall

through the cracks in our floor,

Washington funds,

those who sneak through our door.
