My pet



My pet is red

like the blood

of warrior

ready for battle.



My pet is strong

it protects me

from harm

and weakness.



I keep my pet in a cage

I lock it up.

Hide my pet

away till it’s needed.



But it got out

made someone bleed.

Hurt them

and scared me.



My pet is anger

like candle wax

that sticks

and burns.



I have to let my pet go,

let my anger go

because it burns

and it hurts.
