THE SMALL LITTLE CLOUD

There once was a small little cloud, in a big blue sky
It would fly and float without a sound
But there was nothing much to be found
There was grass on the ground, trees in the hills, animals running abound
Water in the ocean and blue sky all around
Then one day when the sun was setting and rising the small little cloud saw a flash of light
it came from a big gray cloud on the horizon
Wow! That was cool, the small little cloud thought to itself,
So it flew on a breeze to drift in the wind to get a closer look
Flash, Bang, Boom, went the lightning as it hit the ground
The big gray cloud was spinning around
Wow! I must see what that is all about
The small little cloud thought to itself and caught a current of air to get even a closer look
Then suddenly it was, swirling and whirling
All around, this way and that way
Over, under, sideways and down
No sky, or ground to be seen or found
A blinding light, then, a thunderous crack and bang!
It was a real fright, just too much light, it was all too loud
This may look cool, but there's no fun to be found
Just whirling and swirling, spinning and trawling
I must get out of here, it thought to itself
It went over, under, sideways around
But there was no way out that it found
So it gave up and fell slowly down
Wow! That was a wild ride, it thought to itself as it seeped into the ground
Then a tree grew and all that was lost, was found.
