Of the cutting edge of reality: Contemplation, learning, reflection.

Along dream-laden scapes of wonder,
Within sleep's deepest confines,
I roved 'neath Sun and thunder;
I craved merciful anodynes.

I envisioned visions in visions,
I chanced a glance at infinity.
How ironic Nature's derisions:
I am, yet I know not me.

I can conceive the Start;
Yet I know not what begat it.
It may be a cosmic heart;
Mayhap it remains tacit.

I find it hard to grok:
(How such a thing can be?)
That my mind I can unlock,
And let it all flow out to thee!
