A quick glimpse into a moment between two lovers.
He pulled her close beneath the covers.  The first signs of the rising sun began to shine through the trees outside his East-facing window, but the vision of such rarely seen colors beyond the building clouds and the shimmering dew that hung in the air went unseen by his eyes.  He kissed her bare shoulder slowly, working his way to the soft curve of her neck as her eyelids began to flutter.
"Hi.", she said shyly, looking at him only briefly.  "Mmm, more sleepy, comfy."  He ran his hand down her back, and brushed the hair from her eyes.  Their bodies seemed to be made to fit each other perfectly, her round, soft belly pressed against his hard stomach as she wrapped her arms around him, the soft, pale folds of her 320 lbs. body contrasting with the labor hardened muscles of his as they rediscovered each other in the morning light.
"You really are beautiful.", he said, savoring the warmth of her breath against his neck.  "Every curve, every inch."
"I'm not beautiful.", she said softly, her face buried in his chest.
    "Yes, you are.", he replied.
    "I'm fat.", she said.
"You're beautiful.", he said, forcing her to to look at him.  "There isn't another girl I'd rather wake up next to.  There isn't another girl I'd rather make breakfast for, there isn't another girl I'd rather fight over the remote or the radio station with than you.  Come here."  He rolled her over onto her back, and kissed her, softly at first, then harder, deeper, both of them finding acceptance in each other's arms as the pain of their pasts, the hopeless isolation of their forgotten small-town lives vanished, and the walls between all the worlds fell away, until all that was left was the purest act of love that could be expressed without the foolishness of words.
There were no lies as they made love.  The clouds swept in from the west, and the light of the rising sun was blotted out as day became night, and the rain began to fall, blessing the earth, and all the fallen children beneath it.
