Falling from the Sky



So many foreign feelings

Should I turn and run away

Or do I sit and take my time

And enjoy another day.



We laugh and talk

As time flies by

You make me smile so

But if I stop and think too hard

Fear makes me want to go



Our friendship blossomed quickly

Something I’ll never understand

I fight so hard

To stay away

But I want to take your hand



There’s a dark spot in your words sometimes

A fear you do not hide

And I wonder if

You’ll turn away

Leaving me far behind



Which way to go

I do not know

I’ll wait as time goes by

And see if it’s true
