Not everyone likes Halloween tricks...
I was walking home alone with my little sister. All our friends had gone home being that Halloween is now over. We were a little afraid of walking home in the dark when we lived so far away from all our friends. Thankfully, everyone was inside their homes so the streets were empty.

All of a sudden, we hear the leaves crunching a few feet behind us. We turn our heads slowly to look at whatever was there, but we found nothing. “Maybe it’s just the wind.” My little sister said. A little nervous, we began to walk faster. Then, I see something in the corner of my eye. My sister must’ve seen it too because she looked that way as well. “What’s that behind the tree?” she asked. There was a tall figure peering around the tree as us. Scared, we took off running as fast as we could home

Every now and then I would turn back and see that the figure was still behind us, running. I had never been so afraid in my life. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder. A few seconds later, I was tackled to the ground. I screamed for help over and over, but no one came. Then, I heard laughing. My little sister and the figure were laughing. I had no clue what was going on. Confused, I stood up and turned to the two of them.

I walked up to the figured and ripped his black ski mask off, only to reveal my older brother. Turns out, this had been planned. The walk home and the next couple of days had not gone very well for those two.
