Query letter below:

Dear _______________:

I am seeking representation for Generation Witch, a 50,000-word Sci-Fi set in the Appalachian mountain.

When Sarah’s mom dies, thirteen-year-old Sarah never expects her brothers and Dad to do the things to her that they did. In her life, is abandoned by her young husband, raped, and found the coven. She meets Willow, the Mistress of the Zodiac coven. Sarah joins their beliefs, has her daughter Matilda, and Matilda gives birth to twins during a birthing ritual.

When the children were three, Matilda and Damion meet Rev Dallas. The couple move their little family away from Sarah and the coven way of life. Mercy finds documents that tell her of her past. As a young adult lady, she pleads with her sister Mary to follow her to the coven. Mary choses to keep to her Christianity, and burns the coven down with Mercy, Sarah, and everyone who lived there.

The twists and turns of Sarah are dramatic, so it is not surprising that her powerful descendants would make things even more readable.

Thank you for time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Ida Matilda Wright
