Jordan, a weapon designer is killed. Inspector Hardy needs to get the case solved.
VICTIMIZED...
BY MURALIDHARAN VAISHNAV, 8D
Jordan's heart pounded as he took a deep breath into the last day of his life, as he placed his cold, damp feet on the parquet floor. A tall man, he stood six feet with his lean body enshrouded with a huge head. He quivered, recollecting the gargantuan attempts and gambits made by a group of people to kill him.
Jordan was the CEO of Bozaga Rasinth Weapon Industries. A group, known as the Ration Mutes Line of Assassins had victimized him. Firstly, they sent threats for him to give them a malignant and scathing weapon, the Van Hiasv, that has the extremely capability to eat into the earth's core. Jordan refused, and the Assassins still had a good reason to kill him- Jordan had furtively stolen a DAV Hit bomb that the assassins took thirty years to build.
First, the assassins tightly packed small sea shells at Jordan's favourite diving spot. They also placed in explosive cigars in his room. He lent one to his bodyguard, Samuel, and it exploded on him, burning him to ashes. From then, gambits that the Assassins made always seemed forlorn.
Then, the closest the Assassins ever got to him was to slip poison into his apple milkshake. The waiter was instructed to slip in poison pills into the milkshake, but when he went to collect it from the refrigerator, the pills stuck to the freezer and ripped off when it was opened. Thus, hopes of stealing his life became a quagmire for the Assassins. But for once, they were to succeed on their mission.
Jordan, now in the daytime, was on his car that trodded over his fate. Exactly in Hume Avenue, the road blasted, killing him and his two bodyguards in the car. This gargantuan massive explosion demolished the smooth road, killing two students perambulating across the pathway.
Detective Inspector Brandon Hardy arrived right on time, designated to uncover the convolutedness of this quagmire. His eyes peregrinated from side to side, viewing the massive apocalypse that had been engendered, in a scrupulous and scathing way. The sporadic cause of the blast had not been inexplicable, but the odd shape of the unkempt and dishevelled road was an enigma. It had been dislodged from its usual position, and that is when Hardy had realized that the explosives had been planted on the ground, and not the car.
One could not achieve this mission overnight. A group of assassins had dug underground in order to place these explosives. The fact that fascinated Hardy was that these assassins were astute enough to know that Jordan used this route frequently without aberration.
Then the assassins zoomed to the exact time where Jordan's car would pass over. An effluvia of smoke were emitted from the blast. Suddenly, Hardy's phone beeped. It was his boss, Sir Jasfair Diham.
"Jordan's wife has found a note that might be a clue", Diham's voice was dissonant, spawned by the quagmires he confronted.
Without a moment to waste, Hardy entered the gargantuan edifice and met Diham as planned, only to aggravate the convolutedness of this quagmire. Hardy was bemused at Jordan's last note:
The San's Ass is bringing my real fun.
Hardy could figure out the note in a second. It consisted of two anagrams:
The Assassins bringing my funeral.
Now, Hardy was now sure that the Ration Mutes Line of Assassins were behind this case. Every fact perfectly fitted the puzzle. The assassins would have secretly dug underground and would have hid a huge amount of explosives efficaciously, succeeding in their mission. Now that the police would have found out that the tunnel would have started near a base apartment, all that was left was to find the ones who rented it.
"A call for you, Hardy", a voice boomed from the man with the phone in his hand.
"Hardy", he said, taking the call.
"Sir, my friends and I, Alistair are student sculptors. We were designing a project and we saw some sporadic movements underground. Our project was being built close to the site where the explosives were placed. I need to talk to you personally, but not on the phone." The garrulous student had just concluded his gargantuan lecture.
"That's not a problem", Hardy reassured. "Can we meet tomorrow at McDonalds, at...?"
As per the designated schedule, the two had been slated to meet for drinks. Alistair was not alone, but some students had accompanied him. Similar to Alistair, Diham had accompanied Hardy as well. A group of three students, including Alistair, took their seats. Alistair lifted a grey metal case, and produced some photos. They showed the photos of some workers planting explosives. "That is a Watson-Crick explosive", Diham commented.
"We sneaked into what they were doing, and saw that they had planned another gambit. Something totally different from this one. My friends, Gordon and Jeffrey have pictures of them stored in a pen drive", the garrulous Alistair expounded further.
"My office is nearby", Diham recounted. "They can come with me", he proposed. Hardy nodded.
Alistair looked sullen all of a sudden. "I think I'd like to use the washroom."
"Sure, go ahead."
Hardy glanced, his eyes peregrinating from one spot to another. Suddenly, the chair that Alistair was sitting on had exploded. Hardy's suspicions had come true. Alistair and his team now was probably victimized.
Meanwhile, when Diham was walking with both the students, he had received a message. His countenance transformed entirely, as he read the message:
Finish it.
Diham clenched his fist and delivered one crackling punch on the side of Jeffrey's face, knocking him to the ground. Diham got on him, and delivered several punches at a great alacrity. Behind him, Gordon got ready to attack. Before he could do so, Diham forcefully thrusted his leg backwards in between Gordon's legs.
Gordon was not given a single opportunity to grimace in pain. Diham rained several blows on Gordon, subduing both men. Once he completed his task, Diham proudly messaged the leader again.
Mission Accomplished.
In the washroom, Alistair glanced through his phone, with his eyes focused on it. Suddenly, the FBI team encircled around him. Out from the shadows came Hardy, his gun pointed straight at Alistair. "You cannot reproduce Operation Valkyrie", he chuckled.
Alistair was scrupulously checked, and the officers found a tracking device, and a gun loaded with a silencer. "What weapons would a student need?" Hardy asked.
Alistair remained unperturbed. When no answers came out of his mouth, Hardy decided to silence him forever. Hardy pumped three bullets into Alistair, which passed through his heart and came out of his body.
Hardy had expected a call from the culprit. He had expected accomplices, and was confident that Diham could tackle them well. Hardy was brazen enough to unleash the enigma and had thus used the professional method of surveillance cache, to engender the culprit into exposing himself. Diham had easily disposed the bodies of the two accomplices while Hardy engaged with Alistair, the ringleader. Alistair had tried to reproduce Operation Valkyrie, but had immensely failed. - Muralidharan Vaishnav, 8D
