It's amazing how this guy could be so funny. I knew right then you'd go far making good money. I couldn't turn away though my side was hurting. Happy tears streaming my face, my eyes kept squirting. I watched you with Johnny Carson on The Late Show. Long after seeing you bounce around to and fro. Wanting to see more, but Johnny ran out of time. In bed and dreaming of someday being as fine. Your quick wit and timing with crazy looking hair. Is this guy like this all the time or just on the air? Those who make people laugh have a special talent. Some of us do the same but hurt most when silent. Your dramatic side helped you inflate your life raft. Awakenings was a good start honing your craft. Although Popeye was considered a complete bomb. You made the big time with Good Morning Vietnam! Good Will Hunting was fantastic and dramatic. The Fisher King portrayed you as a fanatic. Dead Poets Society is one of your best! One more tormented soul set free on your own quest. Stand upon a tall desk or stand up on a chair. Let everybody know sometimes life isn't fair. We want to know why as we stare in disbelief, Feeling as an Indian tribe that lost their Chief. Depression is truly a terrible disease. For those naughty little voices;one needs to freeze. The survivors manage to somehow carry on. Finding it hard to believe that you're truly gone. On the deck our Captain lies, he's now cold and dead. Recover this loss we plod on with mournful tread. So now tears of sorrow are flowing down my face. This elegy I wrote for you seems out of place. |
