My Home

We talk about our country
and what it means to us,
but when we don't agree,
we make a great big fuss

what about our soldiers,
who don't want to go,
to fight a war we can not win,
for reasons we don't know.

Oh some understand,
but most don't seem to care,
but I will say thank you,
that way I do my share.

If you really want to show,
the support we all should give.
Then show it with your actions
and the way you choose to live.

Fly the flag, stand up tall,
praise the way we live.
Show support in all you say,
find a way that you can give.

No government is perfect,
I will support it anyway.
Right or wrong, this is my home,
And I am here to stay.
