A man watches his lover play piano
Desire

Her long graceful fingers raced playfully over the keyboard, filling the air once again with music. How funny, that her laughter could do the exact same thing, and she didnât realize it.

The sun danced with the red and blonde highlights in her hair, which was pulled back into its usual tight bun. A few loose strands swayed seductively in the summer breeze. A touch of vanilla mixed with a hint of lilac came to my nose, and a smile crossed my lips. I would know her even in blindness, by scent alone.

She closed her beautiful brown eyes as her body moved to the exotic dance she was, unknowingly, creating between her fingers and my heart. I watched quietly as she brought the old piano to life, as she did so often with me, by just a touch of her hand.

Her perfectly shaped leg moved steadily under her white silk skirt, working its magic on the peddles beneath. Oh, how I longed to be the instrument she so skillfully played. Her lips hypnotized me with their soft movement reminding me of their sweetness and the vague promise of intimacy to come.

I moved quietly forward, trying in vain, not to disturb her. She glanced at me and gifted me with a warm and inviting smile that sank into the very heart of me. I caught my breath as she continued her song without missing a beat and felt somehow, as if she had caught a part of my soul within the pools of her eyes. My spirit soared with her; lost in the rhythm of song, and my desire.
