Son Nguyen - "Lake of Tranquility" Twirl around within the same place With a hypnotizing voice and an elegant face. Plunge thy self deep into oblivion For ye shall punish thy transgression. Whispers enunciate words and rumors Of a lake, where thou shalt seek with valor. For its unknown name, many entitled "Lake of Tranquility" If thou art heroic enough to venture into iniquity. Hold thy tongue of courageous words Before entering a mysterious world. Thou wilt realize what bathes in the water When thy deceit is irrevocably uncovered. Many state thou cannot wander If thy bitterness and trickery are vaster. If thou art alive, thou shalt attain An eternal life that will never end. Though, there is a negotiation That thou hast to make with dedication. No words of dishonesty, no cowardice Only actuality thou wilt suffice. Is thy loved one more pitiful than thy life To be sacrificed as an act of vile? Dost thou worship eternity more than love? No tenderness or ardor will be praised high above. Ponder again and ponder again As there is no such eternity to gain. The "Lake of Tranquility" is a temptation To forbid thy dearest aspiration. |
