When I tell you that I will change,

Believe me not, is that strange?

Filth is written all over me,

With the stench of my honesty.

I wasn't created this way,

The things I do leave me dismay.

I want my life to be arranged,

So I tell you this, I will change.

The damn cycle reiterates,

All I want is to elevate

My control and my self esteem

And the shade of guilt won't be dim.

Help me, Almighty man above,

Be there and guide me with your love,

Rid me of my impurity,

Steps that lead me to clarity.
