Dedicated to a decade of the new Dr. Who series.
Jenna and Ginny were on their daily morning jogging. They always took different routes for each day. Sometimes it's in the streets of the busy city, or in the parks or sometimes through the woods. It was another day in the woods.

'I just love jogging through the woods, it's so peaceful.' said Jenna.

'Yeah, we should do this more often. The air contains so much dust and...' Ginny suddenly stopped.

'What's the matter?' asked Jenna and followed Ginny's gaze. There she saw an old mansion with huge iron barred gate.

'We have never came across this mansion before. Let's go and check.' said Jenna.

'Is it safe, you think?' Ginny asked but followed Jenna eventually.

When they entered into the mansion, they crossed a garden and came before the main door of the house. They swung it open and saw the dust and cobwebs covered the living room. Plaster is absent here and there.

'It's like an adventure. Let's go and check upstairs.' said Jenna and caught Ginny staring outside the window.

'I saw the statutes earlier in the garden. I think they weren't as close as they seem now. Don't you think?' asked Ginny and pointed toward the statues. They were big, gray statues with wings and hands covering the face like they are weeping. Worn out angle statutes.

Jenna looked outside and said, 'I don't think they moved. Let's check the other areas and we'll get out of here.' But a suspicion kept bothering her.

The upstairs were in the poor condition as in the living room. Ginny looked outside and said, 'Now they are definitely moving.' and pointed outside. When Jenna saw it, she missed a heartbeat. The statues were still but they've changed their  positions and have came closer. There were two of them, both directed towards them.

Suddenly they heard a dragging sound coming from floor above them.

'There is an angel up there--definitely an angel.' said Ginny.

At that time Jenna saw an old diary lying on the floor, opened and facing downwards. She picked it up. It was a diary of the previous owner of the house. It contained the daily activity of his. It had no mention of any angel until the last two pages. First page said how the angels came closer and the last page said, 'Don't blink. If you blink you'll disappear from this world. Keep an eye on the angle and run for your life. But don't ever take your eyes off the angles. It can only move when you're not looking. Don't let it touch you. If you can cross the main iron gate you're safe. Go run for your life.'

'Ginny, don't stop looking at the angels. whatever you do don't stop looking. It can't move while you're looking.' said Jenna.

'I'm scared.' said Ginny with shaky voice.

'Just don't stop looking. I'll guide you through the house.' said Jenna and took Ginny's hand.

They slowly climbed down and saw two angles blocking the main entrance.

'Let's try the back door.' This time Jenna took the look out and Ginny guided her. When they reached the back door they saw it was clear and just a few yards from the iron gate.

'Jenna, we're almost there. Just a bit more.' said Ginny.

They slowly took their steps towards the gate, keeping a eye out towards the angles.

Ginny opened the gate and step outside , pulled Jenna out and closed the gates. It all happened in a span of a few seconds. They gasped to catch their breath and started running away from the house.

Jenna looked back after a while and saw the angles now have stretched their hands out, showing their sharp claws and fangs towards them.  Jenna just took a long breath and ran for her life.
