Every family has a secret and were no different. Choose wisely who to pass it on to as they will need to protect it with their life. The eyes are the mirror to the soul.

"That's a strange quote to put into a book." Sarah Malone mumbled to herself.

"What is?" Her mother Olivia asked.

Startled Sarah whirled around her long blonde hair flying into her face. With a quick flick of her wrist she tucked her hair behind her ear and showed the quote to her mother.

"Thats not a quote." She said with a heavy sigh. "Lets go down to the kitchen and have a cup of coffee. I'll tell you all about it there."

Without another word she pivoted on her heels and scurried down the sprial staircase as fast as she could.
