Ara, Gos.....and Fly

There was a time
When Ara, Gos and Fly
Were very close

Felicity (Fly, to her friends)
Was quite stuck on Gossamer
Whilst Ara was a bit more distant
Though he seemed able to
Play Gos like a harp

Fly knew they were bound together
But, in truth, was afraid of Ara
His hairy body and large eyes
Made her feel he could eat her up

It could not last, of course
And one day, Fly, stung
By something he did
Simply died
And Gos had a gradual breakdown

Arachnid,(to give him his full name)
Unperturbed and needing new friends
Thought about re-creating Gossamer

But, being lazy
He went on the web
For home delivery
