Henrietta Morgan and Mark Roberts have never been friends. In fact, most people that know them might go as far as saying they're enemies.
But after a chance encounter in a cupboard, Henry finds herself wondering whether it's quite that simple.
To make matters worse, the very boy who caused the feud in the first place turns up in Henry's chemistry class, suddenly leaving school-focused Henry dealing with a lot more than differential equations and the molecular structure of hydrocarbons.
Just when Henry needs to be concentrating on university applications she finds herself unexpectedly juggling secrets she doesn't want to keep, memories she'd rather weren't dug up, and awkward trips to the Deputy Head's office. In the chaos that ensues, Henry begins to wonder whether the future path set out by her mum really is her best option.
Follow Henry's quirky, amusing and at times uncomfortable journey as she starts to learn there's a lot more to life than the inside of a school classroom.
