My Addicted Son/Doomed From the Start?!?

Is it possible for a child to be predisposed to becoming an addict before they even go down that path? Maybe he didn't stand a chance. MAYBE....seems like we all have some kind of a choice on what we want to do with our lives, but maybe some are stronger than others. Maybe some just don't want to deal with....whatever..anything or everything. I have a little story. Its a true story. Everything I write is true, my story, past or present. I am nothing special, but have had somewhat of a dysfunctional life that started when I was 3. If you have a minute, I would like to tell you.
