Born a slider
Visible was a chain
Another Chain
Still Another Chain

More Chains that one can imagine
I am a slider
Built for a chain
But remain a slider

I ache to be apart of a chain
As the slider I am free
Not so free
I am just apart of another chain

A chain unintended for me
But perfectly suited for me
A part of a chain
Downward do I decent

Never to find a chain
Never to be but a slider
Seeking a better chain
To be a winter coat

I close to keep warm
I open to keep cool
Each I serve
