Another poem for writing.

Kleptomania
She stares longingly
at the beautiful
earrings, sighing at the price.
Can I see them she questions
a clerk. He hands them
over. A mistake that was,
holding them she felt the irresistible
urge once more and
before she could think
she’d slipped them into her pouch
and beat a hasty retreat.
