Where the black bird sings
By Lisa Noe
Where the willow trees sway towards the ground
Is where you’ll see them planted year around
Pumpkins growing on a vine
Don’t they just look divine?
You’ll see the black birds gathering In a field of pumpkins they’ll sing
They whistle out a song of peace
Hoping all the wars will cease
Now Halloween is coming soon
So they’ll sing a haunted tune.
The blackbird sings at the strike of noon
His melodies they carry far
You’ll hear them no matter where you are.
Black bird sing loud!
