Hunting of rare and endangered animals |
Less than a second of pressure on the trigger of a rifle or gun. Its all over and another animal will never be seen again. Never more will the dead Elephant,Rhino,Tiger walk in the sun. Many ask when will this senseless killing end,ohh when? Beauty has a price that many with money are willing to pay. These people look at an animal and imagine their heads, tusks on their wall. The morally bankrupt are willing to trade and collect animal parts, some say. But many look at an Elephant or Lion and they feel wander and awe. The insecure feel strong and tough when out on the hunt. With a gun in their hands moving through the wild, they feel manly. If your not much of a man then hunting wont help,to be blunt. In the modern world today, some people still think this way sadly. Wealthy foreigners decent on Africa,Asia, armed and itching for the kill. Some poorer countries for a fee, allow their rare animals to be shot. The great white hunter were around in the Victorian times, today there here still. Money talks and for some that voice is all they hear, like it or not. Its easy to judge harshly others when you live in the priviliged west. If there were masses of hungry people in your country what would you do? Its too easy to think that since your from the west, you know best. Could you look these people in the eye and say your wrong, could you? But more money can be raised by people carrying cameras than guns. There is far more beauty in a living animal than one is dead. Killing animals for food is one thing but for sport, many think its wrong. So many humans being are so quick to kill and destroy, has been said. |
