Taken

She died too early, upon hearing it
Her heart stopped it's beating, and almost quit

Oh dear God, how can her daddy leave her?
Why in the hell can't there be a damn cure?

Her heart is now racing, yet life is still
Shock has taken over, as it now will

Memories come flooding into her heart
She can't believe they will now be apart

Holding onto everything that she can
This wonderful person, father and man

Her dad taken too soon, taken to fast
She now will hold on, to the things from past
