Santa writes another letter - this time to the parents of Torrim.

Dear Parents of Torrim:

I’m writing you this letter – because I need your help. Yes, I know that sounds a little too hard to believe. But it’s the truth. I’m usually the one doing all the giving. And I can still continue doing it. But not without your help.

Do you remember a few months ago when that Mad Scientist by the name of Victum. He threatened to destroy Torrim with a SpaceWeapon. What you probably didn’t know is that he tested that weapon out first on a Snow Mountain near me. As a result, the snow melted. Not that much. But enough that it sent a Wave of Snow down to destroy my workshop and most of my house.

I know what some of you bad Torrims are thinking right now. You can find out where my real workshop and house is at. But you can’t. Victum tested his weapon in several locations all over Torrim. He couldn’t tell you even if he did know. The Galactic Government, and some Agents, stopped him from threatening anyone ever again. They destroyed the SpaceWeapon, those helping him and the weapon’s designer. No one survived that. The only ones who know where I’m at are me, my wife and my helpers.

Luckily, only a few of us got hurt. And no one got killed. But the damage had been done. The supplies I need to make the toys and gifts I’ve either got or can get without too much trouble. And the equipment and machine can be fixed. At least most of the can. The ones that can’t can be replaced. It’s the Children’s Requests that I have a problem with. They are all gone. That’s where you come in.

I need you to send me another copy of the letter you, and or your kids, sent me. If you don’t have a copy of the original letter, I understand. But you need to get it somehow. Ask your children about it. Only be discreet about it. We don’t want the kids to find out about this. If they do it could cause them to lose faith in me before they usually do.

All kids grow out of believing in me. And I can except, and understand, that. Some of you come back to me when you because adults – especially after having children of your own. But not all of you do. And I don’t want the kids to grow up too quickly. I am losing them at a much younger age by the decade. Something like this could be what finally breaks them of believing in me all at once.

If you can’t get a copy from yourself or your kids, then you need to remember what they wanted me to bring then this year. And I know that might not be an easy thing to remember. But if your kids a pretty normal kids they will probably be either begging you for it or hinting about it. If they aren’t you need to find it out through siblings, friends, neighbors, Instructors etc. Whatever it takes, without them finding out, you need to do it. And the sooner you do it the better.

What if I don’t have a copy or I can’t remember? If that does happen I suggest sitting down with your child, or children separately, and as gently as possible explain the situation. And get there help that way. I don’t really want you to do it that way. But if you have to do it then do it that way. A million or so who find out the truth probably isn’t going to matter – especially if they can keep the secret of what happened to me to themselves.

There is only a couple of months left before The New Year Holiday. So I need you to send me back those Requests as soon as you can. My only wish is, and always will be, that each and every child, good or bad, rich or poor, in good health or bad, gets what they want from me. And this year I can’t do that without your help.
