Merry Christmas everyone,
Great, tall and even small,
Young, elderly and newly born.
Girls, boys, Fathers and Mothers,
Aunts, Uncles, cousins and more,
To our friends and even our own pets.
But, who says this to the homeless?
Those who have been forgotten?
The people who no longer have a home?
Those who are all alone,
Those who cry them self to sleep,
Without food, cheer and no love.
Well we had today,
We blessed a homeless man,
We wanted to do so much more.
To us he wasn't poor,
He was great in what he knew,
His home outdoors was magnificent!
The man we met was rich in many ways,
Rich in knowledge of life,
A truly great gentleman.
We gave the homeless man the best gifts,
We gave him food and food for the others to give to the others without a home,
And best of all, we treated him good and gave him our time and companionship.
Those who are homeless do matter,
We all are great no matter how we are or how we live,
So Merry Christmas to all!
