The Dark

What should I look for in the Dark?
For Night Angels, for Demons?
What is right within the Dark?

For me?

I seek a strong hand to lift me.
Above myself. Can that happen?
To a place I can find peace,
And find myself free.

I want to watch the sunrise
And realize it is there for me.
Just once, for no one else.
For me to see.

And the courage it gives me,
To stand...
To shut away the Dark,
Can it be forever?
