The sensible mind with a crazy heart.
When I think of you
I think of myself.
We are so similar
That it is beyond words.
I often hear your name
Both everywhere and nowhere.
I see your face
And it takes me
To a safe and warm place.

When I think about others
I know it must never be.
There is a very slight possibility
That you would ever dream
Of a life with me.

I know I must forget.
I know I will have to leave.
But when I burn with the pain
Of loving you endlessly
I can only think of your beauty.

I am unbelievably strained
for I haven't the slightest idea
Of what I am to do.
I only know
That I do not want to be happy
With anyone other than you.

My mind tells me that it is impossible,
But my heart does not agree.
It tells me to love you
For every waking day.
It screams for me to miss you
When I am to go away.
It tells me to run to you
And never leave.
Somewhere in this crazy heart
I tell myself
That you were meant for me.
