A poem supporting an appetite for life
Menus

Ordering of menus
Starters never tried
Fearing we’ll undo
We see our hearts denied
Imagined imperfections
Impossible to sell
We opt for kids selections
The specials board is quelled
The main course left unordered
Left with ones who wait
Placed where hearts are bordered
Walled with china plates
Fragile with the things they hold
The dish that’s been prepared
For appetites more willing, bold
Desires far less scared
Not for those of cautious bents
With tastes reserved, inert
It leaves us filled, yet discontent
And no place for dessert
Yet still the bill is split each way
Regardless what you ate
Order what you want today
Before it is too late
