Hello... my name is Ronnie Smith Jr. and i am really interested in your performing arts camp. A little bit about myself... I am 13 (soon to be 14) my birthday is May 25th 2002, I go to Cold Springs Middle School in North Reno. I can sing a little bit, play upright bass, guitar, some ukulele and I love to act. Acting is my favorite thing to do. I Act everywhere i go. When i act i will have my family members come and watch me. Sometimes i even teach my neighbor some acting skills. What i am actually here for is to better myself. What i am saying is i do not know all acting skills. I also want to work on scene work, script creation, improvisation and dance/movement. Let me tell you about my experience, i have been in two 30-45 minute plays, The Wizard of Oz and Twelve Angry Pigs. Both of those plays inspired me to write mini plays and mini monologues. I recently auditioned for my school play with a 113 word monologue!!! I was super pumped to hear that the ones who auditioned will be getting their roles MONDAY APRIL 18TH and i got a big part. I love when people take pictures and film me. The reason why i want to act is because i want to be noticed, i want to be seen. I am an attention grabber. I love when people focus on me. I am in a drama class at Cold Springs Middle School.That is when i was in the play, Twelve Angry Pigs. The class is taught by Katie Grill (Mrs. Grill). I am also in Math 8 (MATT NEEL), English 8 (MIKE INSKEEP), Physical Science (JOHN METZGER) and Social Studies 8 (MIKE INSKEEP). Next school year I will be going to North Valleys High School, I will be enrolled in Algebra 1, English 1 and , Biology. Next School Year I signed up for Theatre 1-2, and Theatre Performance. Some people who really inspired me in acting/ Performing arts are Jordan Fisher, Joey Brag, Jennifer Aniston and Caitlyn Jenner. These people go through hard times but an actor has to be strong and let things go IGNORE PEOPLE!!!! The places that have inspired me are New York City and Los Angeles. One other experience i had with Performing Arts was Dance class. When i was 12 i went to a Dance class called Art In Motion. I took Hip-Hop dance class, the teachers name was Mrs. Sierra. I stayed for three dances then they changed the time earlier without notifying me or my mother. I really want to go to this acting camp because i have been working so hard to get in. I looked into other camps but when my teacher told me about this Performing Arts Camp i was super happy and knew this was the one. Knowing that i have a really good opportunity made me really exited for this camp. This is my disire for the performing arts camp, Thank you so much! R Smith.
