Another storm berates night sky
I've seen so many through the years
Could it be the end draws nigh

In childhood storms brought tears to eye
Lightning's flash sowed flash of fear

In youth I danced in storms did I
Fearless with storm's wet veneer
Could it be the end draws nigh

In love were those I held nearby
When storms would bring them running near

In age I ponder storms gone by
Storms of love and strength and fear
Could it be the end draws nigh

And when the time has come to die
In Heaven may storms disappear
