The time I was happy and how it felt to think that I could lose it.
What do you do with happiness?
Where do you put it?
In a drawer full of hopes?
Why do we let it roam
In a world that has lost purpose?

Shouldn't we store it
In a translucent jar?
Don't let it flow through your veins
Don't let it seep into your flesh
Don't let it get to your head
For surely, you wouldn't want to lose it

Should we share it?
Should we save it?
Should we spare it
For rough tides and sorry hearts?

What should I do with this happiness
That's making the bleak sky
Transform into a starry night?
It's making the storm feel like
Warm summer rain
And their scornful words
Float up into smoke

This happiness feels
like a vast ocean
Even if all I received
Was a vaporized quantity
Of half a droplet
