Eleanor ran long past the time when her little legs would normally get tired. She didn't think about how late it was getting or how long it has been since she last ate. She just saw the perfect moment for her and T-Bear to escape. She didn't stop until they reached the old footbridge. Dark, ominous clouds hung low over the other side of the bridge making it seem like a fate worse than death waited there.
